Christopher Nolan has excited fans with the new trailer of his upcoming project The Odyssey.

On May 5, the Universal Studios dropped a new glimpse of the highly anticipated project of the year, which is giving goosebumps to fans.

“Defy the Gods. Watch the New Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and experience the film in theatres 7.17.26”, read the caption.

The 2 minutes 32 second snippet opens with Matt Damon being asked by Charlize Theron “Tell me what you remember”. To which he replies saying “a wife and a son and we won a war.”

The trailer shows Damon struggling to get home after winning the Trojan war, while his wife  and son's  safety is at stake back at home. 

Fans are already loving the  movie and have enjoyed  the first glimpse. They are already calling it the "Movie of the Year."

Meanwhile, some fans are saying that The Odyssey will be getting an Oscar next year as one of them wrote, "And the Oscar for Best Picture goes to ..."

Nolan's 2026 Greek epic is said to be the first film in Hollywood to be shot on IMAX cameras. 

 The much-awaited movie features Matt, Charlize, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson. 

The Odyssey is slated to hit theatres globally on July 17.
