The actress has reportedly set her sights on a crucial role in the film, created to introduce a major twist in the story.

A source exclusively revealed that the Gangubai star is fully committed to the highly anticipated role and considers it a game-changing moment in her well-established career.

The insider shared, “Alia has a power-packed role in Tumbbad 2. While it’s a 20-day shoot, the character is extremely important and directly sets up the events of the third film. She loved the script, and it was a no-brainer for her.”

“The actress has already begun shooting for the film,” the source confirmed.

According to reports, the sequel is set to thrill audiences with its top-notch script, justifying the generous Rs. 100 crore budget.

For the unversed, the film is set to release in December 2027.
