A recent update from the film set brought attention to actor Akshay Kumar, who completed the Kerala schedule of his upcoming project directed by Anees Bazmee.

The Jolly LLB 3 actor had shared the news on May 5, saying that the shooting phase in Kerala had come to an end after several days of work across different locations.

During the schedule, scenes were filmed in areas such as Munnar and Marayoor. The shoot mainly focused on outdoor sequences, using the natural landscape of the region.

Akshay had also posted a picture from the set featuring his co-stars Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna. The background included traditional cultural performers, reflecting local art forms from Kerala.

Sharing his experience, Akshay wrote, “Keralam schedule wrapped! Nothing beats working with good people in a beautiful place. Big love to our director Anees Bazmee and the entire team. This one’s been special.”

Reports said the Kerala schedule had started in late April, when the team travelled for the shoot. The filming there covered key outdoor portions of the project.

The film marked another collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The project will bring back the two actors to work with Bazmee after they previously worked together on Thank You and the project will deliver both comedic content and cheerful disorder.

The project was described as a comedy, although an official title had not been announced.
