‘Going Dutch’ axed by Fox after season 2
‘Going Dutch’ cancelled after second season
Fox has pulled the plug on the comedy series Going Dutch, as per Variety.
After two seasons, Fox has ended the comedy series, which starred Denis Leary as a U.S. Army colonel posted to an unusually unimportant military base. The series finale aired on April 23.
The ensemble cast included Denis Leary, Taylor Misiak, Danny Pudi, Laci Mosely, Hal Cumpston, Joe Morton, Catherine Tate, and Kristen Johnston.
This becomes Fox’s first cancellation of the season, coming just ahead of its 2026–27 slate reveal at next Monday’s upfront presentation on May 11.
Other shows owned by Fox like Animal Control, will be returning for a fifth season.
Joel McHale led series also stars Grace Palmer, Vella Lovell, Michael Rowland, Ravi Patel and more.
With stronger ratings than its peers, Animal Control also brings in revenue for Fox through a licensing arrangement with Netflix and global distribution deals.
At the same time, ratings show Going Dutch as the weakest-performing entertainment title on Fox.
