Actor Ishaan Khatter has officially revealed his upcoming film Jugaadu, where he will be seen alongside Punjabi actor Tania. 

The movie is being directed by Palash Vaswani, who is known for directing the popular Sony LIV series Gullak. 

The project is being produced by Tips Films and Baweja Studios.

The 30-year-old actor shared the news on Wednesday through social media. He posted a photo holding a clapboard from the sets and introduced the film to fans.

Sharing the update, the Pippa actor wrote, "Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for Jugaadu. My first in and as! Cooking with an incredible and passionate team to bring you this riot of an entertainer in cinemas soon."

Soon after the post went live, several actors and filmmakers congratulated him. His Homebound co-star Vishal Jethwa commented, "Congratulations. So excited for this one." 

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar also dropped a "Congratulations" in the comments section. Actor Shahid Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty were among those who liked the post.

Ishaan was last seen in Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. The film told the story of two childhood friends trying to become police officers while dealing with social tensions in a small North Indian town. 

Vishal Jethwa played Chandan, while Ishaan essayed the role of Shoaib. Janhvi Kapoor also appeared in an important role.

The actor is also gearing up for the next season of The Royals, which is set to return on Netflix. 

The first season featured Bhumi Pednekar, Udit Arora, Zeenat Aman and Sakshi Tanwar alongside Ishaan. 

The story followed Prince Aviraaj Singh as he struggled to handle royal duties after the death of his father, King Yuvanath.
