According to a recent report by Rob Shuter’s Substack blog Naughty But Nice, the 38-year-old actress is hopeful that she and the 36-year-old pop star can return to where they once were after months of estrangement.

“Blake genuinely believes there’s still a path back. Now that the legal mess is over, she thinks the hardest part is behind her and there’s real hope they can move forward,” an insider told the outlet.

The source claimed that Lively is willing to go the extra mile to save her friendship with Swift and believes her apologies could eventually be accepted. Her belief is reportedly so strong that she has already assumed she will receive an invitation to the 14-time Grammy winner’s upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce.

The tipster added, “Just like she had her Met Gala dress ready, she already has a dress picked out for Taylor’s weddingThat’s how convinced she was — and still is — that this friendship can be saved.”

Another source noted that the Gossip Girl alum sees the settlement with Baldoni as more than just resolving a legal battle.

“She knows not everything snaps back overnight. But Blake believes removing the chaos changes everything,” the confidant noted. “She thinks once the noise is gone, there’s room for real healing.”
