This Mother’s Day was extra special for Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Kiara Advani as they recently embraced motherhood after welcoming their baby boy and baby girl, respectively.

Both first-time mamas celebrated their first Mother's Day with love, cute surprises, and warmth from their children.

They also shared glimpses from their special day on Instagram for fans.

The 43-year-old diva received a heartfelt gesture from husband Vicky Kaushal and son, Vihaan.

Both father and son surprised the Tiger actress with hand written card and beautiful flowers.

The Phantom actor posted 2 pictures on Instagram with a short caption, "a happy Mama’s pov". 

One of which showed a handwritten card placed next to a bouquet of pink roses. The note read, “Happy first Mother’s Day my love! Love, Vihaan and Papa Kaushal!” In another picture, Katrina was seen holding a children’s book while Vihaan’s tiny fingers turned its pages from the other side. , The book was The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Vicky and Katrina tied the knot on December 9, 2021 and after four years they welcomed their son on November 7, 2025.

On the other hand, Kiara Advani also took to her Instagram to share several photos from her first Mother’s Day celebration with daughter Saraayah.

The first picture features the War 2 actress posing with her mother. Another adorable photo offers a glimpse of baby Saraayah’s cute T-shirt, which reads, “It’s my mom’s first Mother’s Day! (P.S. I’m her gift)." 

One of the pictures also captures Sidharth Malhotra showing off his culinary skills as he prepares chocolate pancakes with “MOM" beautifully written on them. Another image showcases a gorgeous cake topped with a mother-daughter figurine. 

The post concluded with a lovely video of Kiara cutting the cake alongside her mother and loved ones as everyone sang, “Happy Mother’s Day to us."

In her caption, the Shershah actress wrote, “This year was extra special being my first, the husband decided to surprise me with his cooking skills, chocolate pancakes for breakfast , extra cuddles from Saraayu and lots of cake..To all the mamas out there. Thank you for all that you do for your family. You are loved and celebrated every day. To my little angel Thank YOU for making me your mama Happy MAMAS Day."

Kiara Advani and  Malhotra got married on February 7, 2023 and they both welcomed their their first child, daughter Saraayah, on July 15, 2025.
