Gracie Abrams teases third album ‘Daughter From Hell’ arriving in July
Gracie Abrams is entering a new era as the pop star officially announced her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, set for release on July 17.
The singer-songwriter confirmed the news on Instagram on Monday, May 11, while also revealing that the album’s lead single, Hit The Wall, will arrive on Thursday.
“Whoa whoa whoa,” Abrams wrote in her post. “Freaking out. I am so ready for it to be yours.”
The upcoming record follows Abrams’ breakout 2024 album The Secret of Us, which climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and produced major streaming hits including Close to You, I Love You, I’m Sorry and That’s So True.
The latter two tracks each crossed the one-billion-stream milestone on Spotify.
The album also featured Us, Abrams’ collaboration with Taylor Swift, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance earlier this year.
Ahead of the official reveal, Abrams had sparked speculation online after launching a mysterious countdown on her website on Sunday.
While many fans celebrated the teaser campaign, others drew comparisons to Swift’s rollout strategies, with some social media users criticising the singer for allegedly mimicking the pop superstar’s promotional style.
Beyond music, Abrams is also preparing to make her acting debut in Please, directed by Halina Reijn of Babygirl fame.
