Fast & Furious fans were left shocked to hear the latest announcement regarding the world’s biggest film franchise.

The Fast fans, who have been waiting to hear a promising update about the final sequel of the franchise, were surprised with a bombshell news.

Earlier today, Vin Diesel confirmed in an interview that the franchise is going to be adapted into a TV series.

In a statement, he added, “For the last decade, we have realized that the fans have wanted more.”

At the NBC Universal upfront presentation, the XXX star explained, “They wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories. And for the last decade, the desire has been for us to entire the TV space that Fallon has mastered. And I had to wait till it was right…”

He confirmed, “The news that I have here today is that Peacock is launching four shows from the Fast and Furious universe.”

Where some franchise lovers were excited to hear the news, many expressed their frustration saying that that the makers should have wrapped up the film series long time ago.

“When the fuck did we say that”, wrote one. Meanwhile, another one jokingly commented, “It’s like they need these more than fans. Most original fans already bid their good byes.”

Fast X: Part 2 is already in development and is slated to come out in 2028.
