James Gunn is returning with the sequel 'Man of Tomorrow'

Teen Wolf alum Sinqua Walls is set to step into the world of Superman after joining the cast of Man of Tomorrow.

However, his character details are being kept under the wraps.

The 41-year-old actor played Vernon Boyd, the beta wolf in Derek Hale's pack during seasons 2 and 3 of the supernatural teen drama series.

He also starred in Friday Night Lights, and worked on Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, packed with a star studded cast including Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson and Don Cheadle.

After the success of last year’s Superman, writer-director James Gunn is returning with the sequel Man of Tomorrow.

David Cornswett, who portrayed Clark Kent/Superman, will be returning to the role.

Joining him will be Nicholas Hoult, who will also reprise his role as the supervillain Lex Luthor.

In the upcoming sequel, Superman is expected to team up with his archenemy Lex to take on the threat of Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger.

Man of Tomorrow is set to release on July 9, 2027, after a thrilling DC lineup which includes Supergirl, Clayface and the upcoming TV series Lanterns.
