‘R.J. Decker’ greenlit for season 2
‘R.J. Decker’ gets exciting update
ABC is bringing back R.J. Decker for a second season following a strong run led by Scott Speedman.
With the renewal, ABC has achieved the rare milestone of bringing back every one of its current, new and returning, scripted series for next season.
In total, the network has renewed 10 scripted series, including seven dramas and three comedies, without canceling a single show.
Beyond its current renewals, ABC is also looking to expand its scripted slate, with The Rookie: North emerging as a likely series order for next season.
Deadline reported that if R.J. Decker is renewed and The Rookie: North is ordered to series, ABC may trim episode counts across select shows next season.
R.J. Decker is an American crime drama series set in Florida. It stars Scott Speedman as R.J, a former photojournalist turned ex-con who reinvents himself as a private investigator.
Additional cast members include Jaina Lee Ortiz, Adelaide Clemens, Bevin Bru, and Kevin Rankin.
