Sarah Jessica Parker has come a long way from her early Sex and the City days which made her a star.
However, now that she is reflecting on her early days on the show, she recalls one of the biggest changes that was made in the show.
The actress made appearance on her co-star Kristin Davis’ podcast Are You a Charlotte?, where she spoke about the changes that made the show a successful drama.
The 61-year-old revealed that in its early episodes, the show was supposed to have a sitcom style bit where all the cast members were supposed to address the camera directly.
The Hocus Pocus actress said “And it was super stressful. It was very strange because you had to take yourself out of the scene and talk to a mystery person in the camera, but yet you were talking to yourself.”
She added that it was “problematic” because it was difficult to get it right.
The bit is usually seen in sitcoms like The Office and Modern Family when characters sit separately and address the ongoing storyline with the audience.
