American actor Nick Pasqual has been found guilty of attempting to murder Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn.
The actor, who starred in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother as one of Ted’s architecture students, was previously accused of breaking into the makeup artist’s home.
The 36-year-old broke into the house at 4:30 am on May 23, 2024.
As per the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, he “inflicted great bodily injury upon the victim under circumstances involving domestic violence”.
He also reportedly used a knife during the crime.
During the trial, Allie recalled the night saying “I locked the door and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open”.
Nick fled the scene and was later detained at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
Almost two years since the incident took place, a California court found him guilty of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child's parent, according to ABC7.
He now faces the probability of receiving life in prison.
