Connor Storrie is in talks to join Gracie Abrams and Tom Burke in Please, the upcoming A24 feature from filmmaker Halina Reijn.

Rejin is best known for Babygirl and Bodies Bodies Bodies. No details have been disclosed about Storrie’s potential role, and the film’s plot is being kept firmly under wraps.

If finalised, the project would mark Storrie’s second collaboration with A24 in recent months, following the comedy Peaked, directed by Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan.

Reijn is directing Please from her own screenplay and producing through her banner Man Up, alongside frequent collaborator David Hinojosa. A24 is financing and producing the film, with Zach Nutman attached as executive producer.

Storrie has recently emerged as one of the industry’s most closely watched newcomers after his breakout role in Heated Rivalry, the queer hockey drama based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels. 

He stars opposite Hudson Williams in the series, which has already been renewed for a second season.

While details about Please remain tightly guarded, the growing ensemble and Reijn’s recent critical success have positioned the project as one of A24’s more anticipated upcoming titles.
