The most recent information indicates that the team will perform their first collaboration in the upcoming future.
According to reliable sources Anees Bazmee is in talks with Shahid to come on board the sequel to his 2005 group comedy No Entry.
The makers established contact with him while they already secured Varun Dhawan to portray one of their three main character roles. The actor has heard the basic idea and will soon take the complete narration.
The source further reports that Shahid and Varun would become the first two most talented actors from the past 20 years to work together if Shahid accepts the project.
The two actors will display their relationship through the movie because their connection will resemble the bond between Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Andaz Apna Apna.
"It's No Entry but with a twist. The producer Boney Kapoor is trying to take things a notch higher by getting Varun and Shahid together."
If all goes according to plan the marathon scheduling of No Entry 2 will commence towards the end of 2026.
