The incident took place during an episode of The Bombay Journey, where a video featuring the actor was shared on social media. In the clip, traffic police officers were seen recognising him and praising his performance in Dhurandhar.
The situation quickly turned friendly as officers smiled and spoke with the actor at a traffic signal. One of the officers told him, “Jabardast picture hai Dhurandhar,” while another officer asked for a selfie, showing admiration for his work.
During the interaction, Rakesh Bedi also responded in a humorous way. He said, “Abhi mere gaadi ka challan mat kaat dena,” which made everyone laugh at the spot.
According to the video caption shared online, the moment was unexpected as the officers turned into fans while on duty. The clip showed the actor engaging comfortably with them before moving ahead.

Rakesh Bedi had recently gained attention after his role in Dhurandhar 2. Dhurandhar 2 featured Ranveer Singh in the role of an Indian spy. The cast also included Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun.
He is next expected to appear in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by David Dhawan.
