Lizzo has shed light on how marketing of new music nowadays has gotten difficult.

The 38-year-old American singer and rapper video has been going viral in which she is sharing her point of view on why music marketing has become difficult and how algorithm is making it complexed day by day.

The Pink hitmaker dropped a video through her TikTok account blaming algorithms for impacting the new music.

She said, “Ever since the algorithm has been showing us things out of order, baby, there’s no way to successfully promote your album where everyone knows your album is coming.”

She went on to say, “I have a private page with over 280K people who follow me because they support me, because they love me. Even when I post on that page, I’m not hitting their algorithm.”

Lizzo may have fans all across the globe, but she surely has haters, who think that algorithm is not to be blamed here. It’s the quality of work that matters.

One of the social media users wrote, “The algorithm imposes absolutely nothing. If she makes shitty music, it’s her fault not that of the algorithm.”

On the other hand, another netizen wrote, “Who’s going to tell Lizzo there’s just no demand for her music anymore, I don’t understand why it’s so hard to grasp.”
