Taylor Swift stepped out on Monday with her family for dinner in New York but it was her dress that sparked chaos.

The pop star was dressed in a black Valentino piece which Vogue described as a baby doll dress linking it to Olivia Rodrigo’s ongoing album roll out.

For her third album’s pre-release, Olivia has been spotted wearing baby doll dresses, which many speculated to be borderline problematic.

After Olivia performed her new song drop dead in a short Chloé pre-fall 2026 babydoll dress styled with bloomer shorts and knee-high socks in the music video, the dress was no longer just a pieve of clothing but became a debate.

Since Vogue linked Taylor’s dress to Olivia, the 36-year-old’s fans were left enraged who went as far as to demand the removal of the editor who was in charge of the article.

Taylor and Olivia have had a long history of rumoured legal feud when the young singer gave the Lover singer songwriting credits on her song Deja Vu.

While it is not confirmed if Taylor sued the 23-year-old legally, it is speculated that Olivia’s song Vampire is about her tensions with the pop star.
