‘American Horror Story’ season 13 adds Paul Anthony Kelly

Fresh off his breakout performance in FX’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, Paul Anthony Kelly has already made his next big career move.

The 37-year-old Canadian actor and model is heading to American Horror Story season 13, with FX announcing his casting on May 12.

He also confirmed the news by sharing a screenshot of Deadline’s article on his Instagram story.

The surprise casting announcement was revealed during Disney’s annual Upfront presentation in New York, where longtime American Horror Story stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts took the stage surrounded by hooded Druids; before Kelly dramatically emerged from the shadows.

“I guess every nightmare needs fresh blood … and thirteen's my lucky number," he said while making a surprise appearance.

Paul's role in American Horror Story comes after his breakout performance as JFK Jr. opposite Sarah Pidgeon in Love Story, which explored the couple’s high-profile romance leading up to their fatal 1999 plane crash.
