Suniel Shetty gushed about spending time with his granddaughter, Evaarah, in a recent statement.

The 64-year-old actor, who shares daughter Athiya Shetty and son Ahan Shetty with wife Mana Shetty, opened up about his adorable bond with his granddaughter.

In an exclusive conversation with Free Press Journal, the Hera Pheri star referred to Evaarah as “Goddess Lakshmi.”

Speaking to the outlet, he said, “She is exactly like Athiya, in fact, a 2.0 version of her. I spend every free moment with her. I am in the gym from 5:30 to 7 am. After that, I take a quick shower and go to meet my 13-month-old granddaughter. This is my happiest, most fulfilling phase.”

It is pertinent to mention that Athiya and her husband, KL Rahul, welcomed their daughter Evaarah in March 2025 after tying the knot in January 2023.

Taking to Instagram, the couple announced the name of their firstborn.

The caption on the adorable pictures read, “Our baby girl, our everything. Evaarah/ivaaraa ~ Gift of God.”

On the professional front, Shetty, who was last seen in Kesari Veer, is currently gearing up for Welcome to the Jungle.

The third instalment of the Welcome franchise also features Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.

For the unversed, Ahmed Khan’s directorial venture is slated for release in June 2026.
