Peacock is accelerating into television expansion mode with not one but four separate series projects set within the Fast & Furious universe, marking a major franchise push into long-form storytelling.

Vin Diesel made the announcement during NBCUniversal’s Upfront presentation on Monday, revealing that the streamer is actively developing multiple shows inspired by the globally successful action saga.

The projects are being produced under Universal Television, with several writing teams attached to individual concepts, as confirmed by Deadline.

The first confirmed series comes from Sons of Anarchy writer Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman. Additional projects are being developed by Nick Wootton and Charmaine DeGraté, Ingrid Escajeda, and Joe Henderson.

While each team is working independently, insiders note there is no formal “bake-off” process in place. Instead, Peacock will evaluate all four scripts before deciding whether to proceed with one, multiple, or potentially all of them.

Plot details remain tightly under wraps, though the franchise’s expansive world—spanning street racing, global heists, espionage, and even space missions—offers broad creative scope.

Diesel, who has led the franchise as Dominic Toretto since 2001, will executive produce alongside Samantha Vincent, Neal Moritz, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Chris Morgan, and Pavun Shetty. The move signals Universal’s intent to deepen the Fast & Furious brand beyond its theatrical run into a full-scale TV universe.
