On Friday, May 15, the 39-year-old Canadian rapper and singer broke new records on the world’s leading audio streaming platform, becoming the most-streamed artist in a single day following the release of Iceman and surprise projects Maid of Honour and Habibti.

Taking to Instagram, Spotify confirmed that Drake became the platform’s most-streamed artist in a single day in 2026.

Drake’s latest album also quickly gained traction after it allegedly took aim at several fellow stars, including DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, and LeBron James.
