Salman Khan opens up about escaping death ahead of upcoming film
Salman Khan reflects on 'life-threatening' stunt in recent conversation
Salman Khan recently reflected on his life-threatening stunts in various films ahead of the release of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace.
The 60-year-old actor, who is known for his impressive fitness, opened up about the challenges he faced while performing action.
During his recent chat with Variety India, the Sultan star took a trip down memory lane and recalled his 80-foot mountain jump.
Speaking to the outlet, he said, "Earlier, we used to get like one or two boxes to jump on, but this jump was a high jump."
Later in the interaction, the Dabangg actor shared that he refused to do the stunt.
"Like, so they put three layers of boxes for me and a mattress on top. From there, I couldn't see the boxes because the stomach was there. I had to jump based on my judgement," he added. "I was not going to do that jump... but the crowd had already gathered there. So then going all the way down... and saying that I will not do this jump would have proved to be very bad for my ego."
In addition, Khan spilled details about his unsuccessful jump attempt and he unable to breath.
He stated, "When I looked at the boxes, it looked like a matchbox from that height. I had to jump, so I took a run-up, came, and slipped on the gravel. My hair grazed the rock of the mountain, and I fell down."
For the unversed, the Sikandar star is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace.
Meanwhile, he also has Vamshi Paidipally's action-packed directorial in the pipeline.
