Filmmaker Atlee and his wife Priya Atlee have revealed their daughter’s name, almost a month after welcoming her into the world.

Through a special social media post shared on Sunday, May 17, the 39-year-old also explained the meaning behind the name.

Sharing a still video on Instagram, they wrote, "Our hearts have a new name. Miyou. A tiny person with the biggest place in our hearts."

The couple also explained the meaning behind the name. The Jawan director wrote in the caption, “Our art of love now has a name. MIYOU - beauty, gentleness and love. With luv, Meer, Priya and Atlee”.

Atlee and Priya were blessed with a baby girl on April 20 after announcing their second pregnancy with a maternity photoshoot on January 20, 2026.

The Raaka director shared the news with a post featuring a cartoon portrait of their son Meer celebrating becoming an elder brother.

Atlee and Priya tied the knot on November 9, 2014 after dating for several years. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Meer, in 2023.

On the career side, Atlee made his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with Raja Rani after assisting filmmaker S Shankar. He later directed films such as Theri, Mersal, and Bigil, all starring Vijay.

He made his Hindi directorial debut with Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and later produced Baby John, featuring Varun Dhawan.

He is currently working on Raaka, a sci-fi entertainer featuring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.
