Jose Mourinho is reportedly returning to Real Madrid
Real Madrid fans are in for a treat as it has been reported that the celebrated football manager Jose Mourinho is returning to the franchise after more than a decade.
The 63-year-old has reportedly agreed to return as head coach on a two-year deal, as per Sky Sports.
The Spanish football club decided to bring back the manager 13 years after his first spell at the club.
During his time with Madrid, Mourinho won the La Liga title in the 2011-2012 season and Copa del Rey in 2011.
Currently, he is working with Benfica until June 2027.
The step is being taken in order to restore order in the dressing room that has been embroiled in altercations among players.
An official announcement is speculated to be made after Madrid’s final game of the season against Athletic Club on Sunday.
As of now, Alvaro Arbeloa has been serving as the temporary manager after Xabi Alonso was dismissed in January earlier this year.
Mourinho’s portfolio includes coaching clubs like Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
