Brooklyn Beckham celebrates granddad’s birthday from afar amid family feud
Brooklyn Beckham pays tribute to grandfather after snubbing family party
Brooklyn Beckham celebrated his grandfather’s milestone 80th birthday from afar after skipping a lavish family gathering.
On Monday, May 18, the 27-year-old aspiring chef and eldest son of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham took to his Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt tribute to his maternal grandfather, Anthony Adams, just a day after missing the grand birthday celebrations held in his honour.
"Happy 80th birthday, Papa. I love you so much," he captioned the post.
The sweet birthday message was accompanied by a nostalgic photo of Brooklyn and Anthony smiling at the camera together.
Brooklyn’s latest post has seemingly reignited the Beckham family drama, as the husband of Nicola Peltz skipped his parents’ celebration for his grandfather.
Victoria threw an extravagant party to mark her father’s 80th birthday on Sunday, May 17, but her eldest son did not attend the family gathering amid the ongoing family fallout.
However, Brooklyn's affection for his grandfather seemingly was not enough to mend the growing rift with his parents following his earlier social media rant.
Inside Brooklyn Beckham’s claims against his parents
The British media personality has accused Victoria and David of controlling the narrative surrounding the family in the press.
He also claimed on Instagram Stories on January 19, 2026, that his parents had been attempting to undermine his relationship with his wife since before their wedding.
Brooklyn Beckham further alleged that Victoria Beckham interrupted his first dance at their wedding, claiming the former Spice Girls member behaved inappropriately during the moment.
