Indian actress Rakul Preet Singh recently spoke about cheating and forgiveness in relationships during a conversation on a podcast episode that also featured Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana.

The discussion focused on whether infidelity could ever be acceptable in a relationship and how people respond to such situations in real life.

During the talk, Rakul had clearly said “no” when she was first asked if cheating could be justified. Her response set the tone for a serious discussion among the guests.

Sara also shared her view and said that even if someone apologised, cheating was still not acceptable. Ayushmann , however, added that relationships often had different situations and genuine apologies could matter in some cases.

Rakul then explained that it depended on the situation and the extent of the mistake. She said, “But if somebody can have a slip, life is too long to not forgive for one mistake… This doesn’t apply to my personal relationship.”

The conversation continued with different opinions from the guests, where Sara said that she might forgive but not forget.

The discussion also came around the topic of trust and boundaries, where each guest shared slightly different personal perspectives.

The conversation gained attention online as it came shortly after Rakul Preet Singh’s personal life was discussed on social media due to a remark made by her husband Jackky Bhagnani.

Earlier, Jackky had talked about his marriage with Rakul and described it in simple terms.

The Youngistaan actor spoke that their marriage was like a “situationship,” explaining that their bond was based on comfort and honesty.

The couple had appeared together on a podcast, where they shared details about their relationship. Jackky said that both of them were once happy in their own lives before getting married.

“We were happy on our own. Being together just added to that happiness,” he said.
