Arsenal just won the Premier League trophy after two decades

English football club Arsenal have won the coveted Premier League title for the first time in 22 long years.

The victory, which came after so long, has left the club’s fans celebrating after Manchester City and Bournemouth’s match held on Tuesday ended in a draw.

After finishing second for three seasons, Mikel Arteta's side have finally ended the league with major victory.

This is the London club’s first title since 2004.

The win prompted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to share a post celebrating the win.

Starmer took to X to write “22 long years for the Arsenal. But finally, we’re back where we belong. Champions!”

One user expressed his joy writing “22 years of pain, suffering and numerous banters from haters and opposition fans. We finally did it together. We're The Premier League Champions”

Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola was also compelled to congratulate the team saying “Congratulations to Arsenal, Mikel, the staff, all the players, fans for this Premier League.”
