The long awaited film Peddi is all set to release on June 4 and the makers have finished the censor process way before actually.

They are now going to build the cuts that they got approved for into the Pan-India entertainer’s original Telugu version too so yeah it should land as planned.

Peddi was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A 16+ label. Still the makers were asked to do a few changes, like not just one thing.

Certain words such as ‘Loudesh’, ‘Bokka’, ‘Lambdi kodaka’, ‘M***r C**d’, ‘Dongamunda kodaka’ and ‘Kalchi padi denguta’ were asked to be muted or altered in some manner. Also the phrase ‘Saruku saman’ from the ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ song was asked to be changed.

Then in the second half the word ‘Rajasthan’ and a reference to a community were asked to be removed .

Once all those changes were made the folks behind Peddi were kinda handed over the censor certificate on May 22. The duration of the film, as stated on that censor certificate is 189.00 minutes. So, in simple terms, Peddi comes in at 3 hours and 9 minutes, sort of.
