A new version of the song Main Hoon from Maatrubhumi was released recently, bringing fresh attention to the upcoming film starring Indian actors Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh.

The latest version of the track focused on the emotional bond between the lead pair and presented a softer side of the story.Unlike the earlier colourful visuals, the new video had been shot in black and white

The song highlighted themes of love, distance, and sacrifice. Several scenes showed emotional moments between the characters while the story moved around separation caused by duty and responsibility.

The original version of Main Hoon had earlier followed the journey of a soldier’s family. It had shown both joyful family moments and the loneliness that followed when the soldier left for service.

The track had been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ayan Lall. The song paid tribute to soldiers and their families.

Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, had already created discussion online before its release. Reports stated that the film was earlier titled Battle of Galwan and was inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.

The makers had earlier planned to release the film in theatres on April 17. However, a new release date had not been announced yet.
