A film based on the black buck hunting case involving Indian actor Salman Khan is set to reach audiences soon. The makers recently unveiled the first-look poster of Kaala Hiran, a movie that draws inspiration from the long-running case and related events.
According to information shared by the production team, the film was made as a crime drama and courtroom thriller. Parts of the movie were shot in different cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Sambhal and Moradabad.
The project also focused on the widely discussed dispute involving gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan.
Producer Amit Jani spoke about the film and said, “In 1998, in Kakani village of Jodhpur, in the case of the hunting of a black buck by Salman Khan, the drama of the courtroom, the crime, the thriller, the rivalry between Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan, the whole sequence has been shot in the form of a movie.”
Jani also said, “The hunting that took place at that time, Salman Khan’s arrest and the punishment has been shown in the film.”
Speaking about the teaser, he said, “On June 20, we are going to release the first look, the teaser.”
The makers announced that the teaser of Kaala Hiran is scheduled for release on June 20, 2026.
The black buck case remained one of the most talked-about legal matters connected to Salman Khan.
As of now, the film's teaser has not been released, and further details about the project are expected in the coming weeks.
