Louis Tomlinson made 'Dark to Light' as tribute to Liam Payne

Niall Horan has shared his experience of attending former bandmate Louis Tomlinson’s show in Paris.

Louis is nowadays performing back-to-back shows as part of his ongoing tour “How Did We Get Here.”

Niall attended one of the shows, where he got the chance to hear the 34-year-old live.

The Two of Us singer also performed Dark to Light during his gig, a song from his latest album How Did I Get Here? which he specifically made as a tribute to Liam.

Horan, while recalling that moment, opened that it is not just a shared grief between him and Louis, but also for fans.

The Slow Hands hitmaker said in an interview with The Times of London, “We have this shared thing, but so do the fans, they had a loss too. It’s hard, you can’t tell someone that you don’t know him if they feel like they do.”

“It’s part of why people like bands, they are attracted to different personalities, they have their favourite”, the 32-year-old stated.

Besides Tomlinson, Horan also dedicated a track called End of an Era to Payne from his new album “Dinner Party”, which is set to release on June 5.
