'Euphoria' Season 3: Has HBO drama officially ended?
‘Euphoria’ finale sparks massive buzz over show’s future plans
Euphoria has fuelled intense online speculation after its Season 3 finale, which included a main character’s death, with fans now questioning whether the hit series will return for a fourth season.
During a recent conversation with Popcast, the New York Times’ music podcast, creator Sam Levinson officially announced that the hit series has ended.
Shortly after, HBO also confirmed the news in a statement to Variety, with the Season 3 finale, titled In God We Trust, ultimately marking Euphoria’s final episode.
The move does not come as a surprise, as Zendaya, who plays Rue Bennett, had previously teased the series’ conclusion.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show in April 2026, she was asked whether season three would conclude the HBO drama.
"I think so, yeah. That closure is coming," the Emmy-winning star said at the time.
She added, "It cracked my heart open. Rue taught me so much about empathy and about redemption. She taught me a lot, and I'm very grateful for all of it."
