'Drishyam 3' shoot ends, Ajay Devgn’s thriller moves to next stage
Filmmaker Abhishek Pathak marks end of 'Drishyam 3' shoot with emotional note
The Hindi version of Drishyam 3 has crossed a major milestone, with director Abhishek Pathak confirming that filming for the Ajay Devgn-led thriller is now complete.
The filmmaker shared the update on social media late on June 10, posting a photo from what appeared to be the film’s set.
The announcement comes while many fans are still talking about the recently released Malayalam Drishyam 3, which brought the original story led by Mohanlal to a close.
“And that’s a wrap on the shoot of #Drishyam3,” Pathak wrote.
Looking back on the months spent making the film, the director thanked the cast and crew for staying committed through the long production schedule.
“For the past many months, this film has been our world. We’ve spent countless days and nights together, chasing scenes, solving problems, sharing laughs, overcoming challenges, and slowly bringing this story to life,” he shared.
Pathak also praised the team for sticking together during difficult moments.
“There were good days, difficult days, and crazy days, but you showed up every single time and gave it everything you had,” he wrote.
“This film carries a piece of all of you. Your effort, your passion, and your heart can be found in every frame.”
The update is also drawing attention because Pathak recently said the Hindi film will not simply copy the Malayalam version.
“The Malayalam film is an emotional family drama, while ours is a family thriller,” he had said.
With shooting now over, work will move to post-production. Drishyam 3 is currently scheduled to reach cinemas on October 2, 2026.
