Millie Bobby Brown has shared a glimpse into her approach to parenting, saying she follows a simple “one day at a time” mindset while raising her daughter with husband Jake Bongiovi.

Speaking in a conversation with UNICEF the actress said she and her husband often remind each other not to overthink things and to focus on the present moment.

“Today was today and tomorrow is going to be tomorrow,” she said adding that they try to take things day by day as they adjust to life as new parents.

Brown also spoke about how unpredictable motherhood can feel saying there are constant moments of doubt where she finds herself questioning whether certain behaviours are normal.

She shared that she often turns to her mother for reassurance describing her as her “911” contact whenever she needs advice or comfort.

According to Brown her mother regularly helps calm her concerns by reassuring her that many of the things she worries about are completely normal.

The actress also praised her mother-in-law saying she is equally supportive and always available when she needs guidance.
