American actress Storm Reid has spoken about her absence form the finale of HBO’s Euphoria.

The show finally came to an end with its last episode on May 31 after it first came out in 2019 with the heartbreaking death of Rue, played by Zendaya.

The first two seasons of the show featured Storm playing Zendaya’s on-screen sister Gia, who was absent from the finale season.

The young actress responded with humor after fans questioned why her character was absent during Rue’s final moments in the series finale.

Sharing a studio video, the actress joked, “Sorry Rue I’m busy in the stu,” before firing back at a commenter who noted she wasn’t there for Rue’s last seven minutes. Reid replied, “Were you?”.

In the third season, Rue is shown to have been estranged by her mother and sister for multiple years after finishing high school while still recovering from her drug addiction.

In the final episode, Rue dies after an accidental overdose marking the end of her tumultuous journey.
