Kangana Ranaut has come out in support of Ranveer Singh amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his sudden exit from Don 3.

The 40-year-old actress, who has always been vocal about her thoughts and beliefs, talked about the stand of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) against the Simmba star.

During the trailer launch of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata on Tuesday, June 2, Ranaut was asked to weigh in on the controversy surrounding Singh, 40 and the ban imposed on the actor.

Speaking exclusively, she responded, “You are asking me, I have been banned by everybody! I want to say that when a person has more status, their enemies also grow. It is not possible that with more status there will be no enemies. Then Ranveer must also wonder how much he has grown today that he has so many enemies! That’s alright, when we move ahead in life, then there are many obstacles. I have faced a lot and still I am doing well. It does not matter.”

This comes on the heels of the Padmaavat star walking out of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 abruptly after Dhurandhar’s success.

In retaliation, Akhtar approached FWICE and claimed that Singh’s exit has resulted in monetary losses of around ₹45 crore.

Earlier in April, the FWICE issued a non-cooperative directive against Ranveer due to his unprofessional attitude.

Meanwhile, Ranaut is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming project Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.

Manoj Tapadia’s directorial is expected to hit the big screens on Friday, June 12.
