'Deli Boys' cast makes shocking remarks about the Khans of Bollywood
Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan: Who is the favourite among the 'Delhi Boys' cast?
In a recent move, the cast of Deli Boys opened up about their favourite celebrity they looked up to growing up.
In chat with Parade, Saagar Shaikh, who plays Raj Dar on the crime comedy series, shared, "Unequivocally, it’s Shah Rukh Khan."
"I grew up watching Shah Rukh Khan movies," he stated, as Poorna Jagannathan, who took on the iconic role of Lucky, enthusiastically quipped, "I also see the resemblance."
"Game recognizes game," Asif Ali, who plays Raj’s elder brother Mir Da, added.
"Shah Rukh Khan, Amir Khan," Saagar, 39, said adding to the list, before the Never Have I Ever star asked, "All the Khans. Salman Khan?"
To which Saagar quickly replied by saying "Not all the khans," which came as a shock to Poorna, who loudly exclaimed, "Oh, not all the Khans."
The interviewer proceeded to ask about their favourite Shah Rukh Khan movie, to which Saagar began to list some of his favourites, listing, "DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge)"
Poorna sings the tune of the main theme song from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham as her answer.
"A really good one, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' obviously," Saagar added.
Asif then playfully teased him by asking, "You don’t like Don? Come on man. Don 1, Don 2!"
Ignoring Asif, he continued to list the movies, saying "Baazigar, Karan Arjun. There’s so many good ones."
The interviewer then dropped another SRK movie 'Om Shanti Om,' which he agreed to as he repeated the name.
Deli Boys season 2 premiered on Hulu on May 28.
