Tom Holland believes Zendaya has something special, not just as a partner but as an actress, calling her “fearless” and the “best actor.”

On Tuesday, June 2, Holland praised Zendaya on a recent episode of the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast. The host asked him what he had learned after living with Zendaya and watching her work.

"I think what I love about watching her work as an actress is she's just fearless," he said. "She's just absolutely ten toes down, like 'I'm going to give this everything.'”

Reflecting her role in Euphoria as Rue, Holland says Zendaya was totally different from her role to who she is in real life.

"And then if you see her as Emma in The Drama, it's just such a different performance, but with no less intent or passion or drive,” he added. “I think she's the best actor going, I really think she has something special."

Holland and Zendaya first crossed paths while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and confirmed their relationship publicly four years later.

Engagement reports surfaced in January 2025, while stylist Law Roach later suggested they had already married. However, the famously private pair have yet to publicly confirm whether they have officially tied the knot.
