Indian actress Nushrratt Bharuccha recently addressed an online discussion that started after her video celebrating the Royal Challengers Bengaluru IPL win went viral.

The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress had shared a short clip showing the match moment being played on television. Soon after the post, social media users began reacting to certain background sounds in the video. Some users claimed they noticed unusual audio, which quickly led to speculation and online debate.

As the discussion grew, Nushrratt Bharuccha issued a clarification through her Instagram Stories. She dismissed the claims and explained that the voice being discussed was not part of any intentional recording.

She wrote, “Guys calm down… that voice is NOT mine. That was my cat’s voice and I did not notice it while posting.”

She further stated that the audio had been uploaded by mistake and that people were overthinking the situation. She also pointed out how quickly online users created theories without verifying facts.

In her message, she added that not every online moment needed to be turned into a controversy and asked users to avoid spreading rumours based on assumptions.

On the professional front, Nushrratt Bharuccha was last seen in the silent film Ufff Yeh Siyapaa. She is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film Bun Tikki , set for release in 2026.
