Olivia Rodrigo had the best time of her life attending a Rave with the party crazy fellow singer, Charli XCX.

On Tuesday, June 2, during her appearance on BBC Radio 1, the Driver's License hitmaker reflected on her friendship with Charli and their recent experience of going to an EDM party together.

During the conversation, Rodrigo was asked to name any female pop stars who are supportive of her, and she mentioned the “wonderful and lovely” Charli, whom she called a “girl's girl.”

“I actually went to a rave with her. I don't even know if it's a rave. I'm not like, a party girl. She's the ultimate party girl, obviously,” Rodrigo said. “I was a little out of my element, but I had the best time, and she was very lovely.”

The duo’s recent night out was detailed in a feature by Dazed, where a reporter at a London nightclub spotted Olivia Rodrigo alongside Charli and her husband George Daniel.

The piece included a black-and-white image of Rodrigo smiling with her eyes closed as she embraced Charli from behind.

The pair have long shown mutual admiration, with Rodrigo once calling Charli an “incredible songwriter” in 2021, while Charli later praised SOUR and told her, “Hit me up any time,” on X.
