Ashoke Pandit has expressed his frustration over Kangana Ranaut’s comments on Ranveer Singh’s FWICE ban after he was dropped from Don 3.

During a press conference, the filmmaker and FWICE chief advisor spoke at length about the ongoing dispute involving Ranveer Singh and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

Addressing the media, Pandit criticised the actor-politician over her 'senseless' remarks regarding the Bajirao Mastani star’s sudden exit from Don 3.

Clarifying FWICE’s stance, he said, “A lot of people in the industry have started abusing us. Yesterday, Kangana also said something. They are not understanding the whole issue, and people are just commenting.

“Kangana also said that even I have been banned by the industry. I said, ‘You talk nonsense, that’s why I banned you.’ I don’t care. There is a big issue in the industry here. You don’t even know the issue. You are just saying things. We are not against Ranveer. We are talking about what has happened.”

This update comes after the Queen actress stepped in to defend Singh over his film choices.

She said, “Jab haisiyat badhti hai toh dushman bhi badhte hain (As your status rises, so do your enemies).”

For the unversed, Ranveer exited the highly acclaimed franchise,  resulting in losses for the film’s producers.
