Cardi B’s former boyfriend Stefon Diggs has broken his silence on their headline-grabbing coffee shop argument and the truth behind it, while also sharing insight into the current dynamic of their relationship.

During a recent chat with TMZ, the 32-year-old American football wide receiver clarified that despite public narratives, he and the 33-year-old rapper are in a "great" place.

"That’s my child’s mother. I love her to death," Stefon, who welcomed his son with Cardi last year, shared.

He added, "You have to ask her."

When asked about his viral heated interaction with the Bodak Yellow star last month, the NFL player remained tight-lipped.

​"What argument? I don’t even think that was an argument," he replied.

Asked about Cardi’s apparent anger in the viral clip, Stefon said, "That’s okay… women get like that sometimes."

Reiterating his stance, he confirmed that he and the I Like It rapper are doing "great," even after their reported split earlier this year.

The update follows Cardi and Stefon’s reunion after their February split, after which the rapper was later seen confronting the athlete on May 13, 2026, outside a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, Maryland.
