Bandar producer makes surprising claim about Anurag Kashyap in recent update

Bandar producer Nikhil Dwivedi has opened up about his experience working with Anurag Kashyap on the Bobby Deol-starrer.

In an exclusive interview with Vickey Lalwani, Nikhil recalled how Anurag disagreed with him on the creative aspects of the film.

Speaking highly of the filmmaker’s passion, the actor-turned-producer said, “I got the script written by Sudip and just sent it to Anurag to read and give his opinion. He read the script, called me, and said that he would only direct it. He chose me, I didn’t choose him.”

“He is a difficult director. He is very passionate about his beliefs. My writers are equally passionate about their beliefs, and even I am too. When passionate people are working on a project, they will always have debates on the creative aspects of the film, which I think is the best thing.”

In addition, Nikhil expressed that the two engaged in passionate debates throughout the shoot, while the director eventually decided the ending of the film.

Bandar is slated for release on Friday, June 5, and stars Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, and Saba Azad in key roles.
