South Indian actor Ram Charan continued to attract international attention as fans from Japan travelled all the way to Hyderabad to watch his latest film Peddi in theatres.

A video that went viral showed two Japanese fans, Masami and Kris, interacting with the media outside a cinema hall. The fans shared their excitement after watching the film and even expressed their love for its songs and energy.

They had also revealed that they had taken a five-day break from work to visit India and be part of the film’s release celebration. According to local reports, they had reached Hyderabad two days before the release.

A person accompanying the fans said that they had already watched Peddi multiple times in theatres and were planning to watch it again during their stay.

Over the years, Charan’s popularity in Japan has steadily grown, especially after films like Magadheera, Rangasthalam, and RRR, which helped him build a strong overseas fan base.

Meanwhile, Peddi also continued its strong run at the box office. The film opened to a massive response and collected over ₹100 crore on its first day. On the second day, it maintained steady earnings across India and overseas markets.

Peddi is a kind of sports action drama which was written and directed by Buchi it’s his sophomore project after Uppena or so it feels.

It features Ram, Janhvi, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu in the main roles.

The movie is backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and co produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment. Also it is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, yeah that part too.
