Indian-Canadian Youtube star Lilly Singh has opened up about her life journey and being single at 37 as a desi woman.

The Youtuber rose to fame as one of the earliest stars from the platform, widely known as Superwoman.

Now, years after first launching her Youtube channel, she is embracing life on her own timeline, saying she no longer feels pressured by traditional expectations around marriage, children and success.

In a candid interview with Variety, she reflected on how her perspective has evolved since her teenage years.

Lilly said “Now I am 37, unmarried and do not have children. What I would tell my 16-year-old self is to put a little less pressure on figuring everything out and instead enjoy the journey.”

With her podcast, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, she has also established herself as a producer and podcaster.

Speaking of her projects, she said “Everything I do has meaning and is artistic. I do things for the little Lilly who just wants to have fun.”

Lilly is now starring in Holy Curse and makes a brief cameo in Deli Boys.
