Zendaya’s recent outing to a bookstore sent fans into a frenzy after she appeared to show support for her longtime partner, Tom Holland.

The 29-year-old actress visited Rakestraw Books in Danville, California, where she purchased two books in what appeared to be a subtle nod to two upcoming film projects featuring her and her partner.

"We had a very special visitor at Rakestraw Books recently," the store wrote on Saturday, June 6, accompanied by a striking image of Zendaya inside the shop.

They added, "Zendaya stopped by to shop and chat books with us! We were thrilled to help her find some good reads and loved getting some recommendations from her!"

In the photo, the Emmy-winning star can be seen holding copies of Dune: Messiah by Frank Herbert and The Odyssey by Homer.

Zendaya is set to return as Chani, the Fremen wife and legal concubine of Paul Atreides, in Dune: Part Three, the next chapter in Denis Villeneuve’s franchise, scheduled for release on December 18.

Holland is meanwhile scheduled to appear in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated adaptation of The Odyssey, with the Disney alum also attached to the project as the goddess Athena. The film is scheduled for release on July 17.

Zendaya and Tom Holland’s Relationship Timeline

The couple met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and were first romantically linked in July 2021, when they were photographed kissing in a car in Los Angeles.

They sparked engagement rumors at the 2026 Golden Globes when the Challengers actress wore a diamond ring on her left hand. TMZ later confirmed their engagement.

That September, Holland subtly acknowledged the change in their relationship status when he corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend during a panel event.

"Fiancée," he said with a smile.

Earlier this year, Zendaya’s close friend and stylist Law Roach stated that the pair had reportedly already married, though no official confirmation has been given.
