Varun Dhawan reflected on the emotional realities of being a star in the entertainment industry.

The Student of the Year star has opened how stardom can cause loneliness despite all the glamour.

In a statement, he simply said, “Actors’ lives are very lonely. Ninety percent of actors are very lonely.”

The 39-year-old shared that he saw it from the beginning and dropped the mask back then only,

“I’m not like, your back has to be straight all the time. I try not to do that. My mental health will go for a toss. I can’t pretend because somewhere, it (the bubble) would burst,” he said.

Varun believes that he used to blabber a lot in interviews previously, but now he has become more conscious because of social media as people doesn’t take a second to cancel celebrities these days.

While speaking with Bollywood Times, Dhawan gave the example of Salman Khan, who recently was making headlines for his late night posts with the most disturbed captions.

The Sui Dhaga actor jokingly added, “When I see Salman bhai‘s posts at night, he’s going into another zone only.”

Varun shared that the key is to just be yourself whether good or bad.

Work wise, his new film Hai Jawani to Ishq Hona Hai just release in theatres on June 5, which starred Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, Maniesh Paul, Rakesh Bedi and Manish Paul.
