Ever since Shraddha Kapoor wrapped up the blockbuster Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank in 2024, fans have been eager to know more about her next film Eetha.
Although reports about the project and its production surfaced from time to time there had been no official update from the makers.
However, now the team behind the film has officially confirmed that the film will hit cinemas later this year.
In their announcement, the makers revealed that producer Dinesh Vijan and director Laxman Utekar are coming together once again after the success of Chhaava in 2025 for Eetha "a bold and emotionally charged film" that features Shraddha in a powerfu author-backed role.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 28, coinciding with the Rakshabandhan festivities.
Alongside the 39-year-old actress the film also stars Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in important roles.

The biographical drama will trace her journey across several decades, from the 1940s through the 1990s, highlighting both her achievements and the hardships she faced during her life and career.
The Aashiqui 2 star was last seen in Stree 2 which emerged as one of the biggest Hindi film successes in recent years.
The horror-comedy, also starring Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi broke several box-office records and featured a special appearance by Akshay Kumar.
