On Monday, June 8, the 41-year-old singer-songwriter and the 54-year-old former Prime Minister of Canada made their stylish red carpet debut as a couple at the 2026 Tribeca Festival, held in New York City, per PEOPLE.

Displaying public affection, Trudeau attended the annual film festival in support of Perry’s concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, which had its world premiere at the event.

Sporting a halter-neck gown adorned with rose-inspired details, the Firework hitmaker elevated her glamorous appearance with an elegant hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Trudeau opted for a simple yet timeless look, wearing a formal black suit with a white shirt.

The couple were seen in high spirits as they smiled for pictures and interacted with fans.

Sharing details about her forthcoming concert film, Perry teased that it is very different from her 2012 project Part of Me.

"That was more of a documentary about my life, and this is really a concert experience at the highest level for the fans," she told PEOPLE.

The Dark Horse songstress added, "I mean, I'm doing all of this for my fans because they are the ones that have helped me along for all these years, over 18 years, and it's just such a fun thing to encapsulate."

She also noted that her energy levels on The Lifetimes Tour, which kicked off on April 23, 2025, in Mexico City and concluded on December 7 of the same year in Abu Dhabi, were "incredible."
